Well, I used to have a "Go-Ped" once that a friend and I strapped a sneaky pete NO2 systems to. It could burn the rear tire with one of my lighter friends on it..

My wife rides one....a Burgman 400....pretty bad ass for a scooter and she LOVES it.

I just never been that into scooters. For what they charge for them now, I can get a full sized bike. But they WILL run on the ceilings, though. See this ad:

I ride a 2006 Honda Silverwing and my wife rides a 2005 Yamaha Majesty and I'm seeing more scooters on the road evey day in Baldwin county.

My wife rides a Honda Helix. Never saw her for hours when she first got it for about 3 weeks. She slowed down a little, riding not speeding. We rented scooters in Italy when we went over there, she brought back some of there driving skills. Over there Scooters rule, they basically make the rules on the roads. We are considering an Upgrade for her, she doesn't like shifting, so a Ridley, or a bigger scooter. If we keep it, I'm going to strip it and paint it Bright Lime Green (chartreuse). She thinks it will help her be seen. I don't think it matters much, dumb people driving everywhere. I actually rode it to work a few times. It will run 72 with a good tail wind. about 87 miles to the gallon. So far easy to maintain. We get up and go a lot, she loves the beach and it's no problem for her to follow me to Pensacola

Me and Debi went down to Puerto Rico a couple years ago and rented scooters in San Juan....had a blast on them!
